Who says you can’t have fun with your communications? When we brainstorm creative options together and get excited, then you know you’re really doing something right for your audience. Here is a short teaser video which hopefully brings a smile to your face.
1 Minute Film - Orange Altitude
Creatives need personal projects to grow, challenge and inspire.
Owner and operator Geraldine, here! I’m so honored to be nominated by my Orangetheory Fitness studio @otfwoodridge for their #MoreLife Membership Appreciation spotlight. While part of being featured is capturing a “why I love OTF” video clip at the studio, I wanted to create my own. I hope this 1 minute touches you in some way, and shows why OTF holds a special place in my heart.
My heart is overflowing with gratitude when I think of these people, for without them, I know I would not have made it to the top!
❤️The entire team at @pristinetrails, especially my guides Kim, Passat, and Juma — the superstars that make getting to 5895 meters | 19,340 feet look easy
❤️My awesome OTF coaches who inspire me literally, everyday with their energy and passion, and challenge me to run/bike/row farther/faster and lift heavier: Coach Rudy @rudes713, Coach Marielle @m_emory14, Coach Lewis @the_freakin_rican, Coach Nick @nickcarroll93
❤️And last but not least, my cousin, tent roommate, and fellow mountain camera operator @micolim, for wanting to climb Kilimanjaro too. We did it! :) Thank you for being part of this journey of a lifetime.
With All My Splat Points,
G.

Jade Restaurant Austin
We recently worked with Jade Restaurant located in Austin, Texas to create new marketing materials that included photography and videography.
The sole purpose of the video was to feature their private room. While photos can tell the story, video and add another dimension to help customers get a sense for a space.
Awesome Chicago Cover Band
If you are looking for a live band for your wedding or general event, definitely check out the cover band the Walk-Ins! Joe and team are so incredibly nice and great to work with. You won't be disappointed.
In one swift hour, we were able to film so much great footage and compress it down to really give an audience a taste of what they can expect. Now have a listen! They'll have you singing along for sure!
My UIC Connection
We collaborated with the University of Illinois at Chicago on creating a piece that would help incoming freshman and transfer students adjust to being at college. We called "My UIC Connection" and this became the theme for the video. It went on to win an award! First Place to be exact! Thanks to the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Region V for recognizing our work, and the testimonies of these young adults!
Top 5 Reasons to Use a Teleprompter
When we offer a teleprompter to our clients it seems that the response is 50/50, which is surprising. If given the choice, our production crew would hands down opt for a teleprompter. And not just because we are "behind the camera" types!
Here's why:
- Clean Message. Your audience has the attention span of a two year old. You need to be succinct. Rambling is the opposite of succinct. And rambling is a good segue to point #2.
- Faster Editing. We're not going to lie. Editing 15 minutes of rambling sucks. Know what else sucks? When your final product is baby ramblings stuck together with silver duct tape (See #1, i.e., don't risk losing or confusing your audience).
- Consistent Delivery. Practice makes perfect. Control delivery down to intonation and facial expression. Beyond what you say, there is so much power in creating a presence. And this comes with practice.
- Feedback. You can get someone's feedback before you even open your mouth and we hit record.
- More Relaxed. You're more relaxed because you know exactly what you're going to say and how you're going to say it. No shaky-nervous voice. No forgetting lines. Just reading with presence.
A teleprompter is a tool that can get you to an awesome video that hits the web faster.
And you can get on with your life. Or, ideally, on to your next video with us...because the other one was a breeze. :)
